Alsip Chamber Rolls Out 2025-2026 Hometown Heroes Banner Program
The Alsip Chamber of Commerce is taking orders for the Hometown Heroes Banner program honoring active military and veterans through April 30

ALSIP, IL — The Alsip Chamber of Commerce is once again rolling out its Hometown Heroes Banner Program for 2025-2026 honoring current military, veterans and first responders. Banner orders must be submitted to the chamber by April 30.
The vinyl banners are hung off light poles lining Pulaski Road in Alsip as a visual salute to the village’s veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Other neighboring towns have also adopted the program.
The Alsip chamber is seeking to expand the program and is now taking orders for Hometown Hero banners to be displayed 2025-2026. The vinyl banners are good for two years, including mounting and storage. Residents must renew their banner every two years, which become weather-worn.

The fee to have the banner printed, displayed, stored and displayed again is $110. Neither the chamber nor the Village of Alsip profits from this fee. The banners are publicly displayed from Memorial Day through Veterans Day.
Applications for the Hometown Heroes Banner program can be downloaded from the Alsip Chamber website. For questions, contact info@alsipchamber.org.
