ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL — Motorists and residents were being asked to avoid the area of Arlington Heights Road and Clearmont Dive Friday morning for a traffic crash investigation. The Elk Grove Police Department sent out a traffic alert at around 8:30 a.m., later in the day saying the roadway had reopened.
