Conant Teacher Resigns Over Alleged Improper Relationships
An investigation was conducted after an accusation was made through the high school's anonymous tip line.

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL — A Conant High School teacher has resigned following a Township High School District 211 investigation into an accusation that she had inappropriate relationships with students as far back as 1997. Although the district's investigation is closed, Hoffman Estates police, the Department of Children and Family Services and other agencies are still looking into the matter, according to the Daily Herald.
According to a message sent to Conant parents Thursday, officials received information about the teacher's alleged improper relationships with students through the high school's anonymous tip line. The district said the alleged behavior happened no earlier than 1997 and no later than 2002, the Herald reports.
"The investigation occurred swiftly and included multiple sources," the school district's message to parents stated. "The individual resigned from the staff at Conant High School."
