Reason for recognition: Dr. Nakfoor recently donated over 1,000 masks to area schools for students and staff returning for in-person instruction.
One thing to know: Nakfoor had originally purchased the masks to give out to patients at his office. But instead decided to donate them. "A lot of these kids I have known since they were babies. I want to do my part to make sure they're safe in school," he said.
