ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police.

Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

ARRESTS

OPERATION OF A VEHICLE WITH A CANCELLED, SUSPENDED, OR REVOKED REGISTRATION

Isabek Arystankulov, 31, is accused of operating a vehicle with a canceled, suspended, or revoked registration, and was arrested at 11:45 p.m. July 26 at East Thomas Avenue and East Rand Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Sept. 7 was assigned.

Pavle Jocic, 19, is accused of operating a vehicle with a canceled, suspended, or revoked registration, and was arrested at 5:43 p.m. July 23 at Arlington Heights Road and Algonquin Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Sept. 7 was assigned.

BATTERY

Anthony A. Athanas, 54, is accused of battery and was arrested at 2:45 p.m. July 26 at Arlington Lanes, 3435 N. Kennicott Ave. Bond was set at $100 and a court date of Aug. 26 was assigned.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO VEHICLES

Michael L. Braxton, 53, is accused of criminal trespass to vehicles and battery. Braxton was arrested at 10:58 p.m. July 27 at Red Roof Inn, 22 W. Algonquin Road. Bond was set at $100 and a court date of Aug. 17 was assigned.

RECKLESS HOMICIDE

Bryam E. Campos Mendoza, 24, is accused of reckless homicide, as well as aggravated DUI resulting in the death of another person, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding 35 MPH over the limit, disregarding a traffic control light, and failing to reduce speed. Campos Mendoza was arrested at 3:37 a.m. July 23 at Northwest Community Hospital, 800 W. Central Road. Bond was set at $200,000 and a court date of Aug. 19 was assigned.

SUSPENDED/REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE

Andres Enrique Carranza, 23, is accused of driving on a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Carranza was arrested at 12:30 a.m. July 22 on the 1400 block of S. Arlington Heights Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Sept. 1 was assigned.

Rebecca A. Meagher, 46, is accused of driving on a revoked license and was arrested at 12:47 a.m. July 24 at the intersection of E. Golf Road and S. Arlington Heights Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Aug. 23 was assigned.

Curtis K. Rollins, 31, is accused of driving on a suspended license and was arrested at 8:50 p.m. July 27 at the intersection of E. Algonquin Road and S. Arlington Height Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Aug. 23 was assigned.

OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH NO VALID LICENSE OR PERMIT

Juan P. Marcelino Ruiz, 20, is accused of driving without a license and was arrested at 8:08 a.m. July 28 at the intersection of E. Central Road and W. Kirchoff Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Sept. 7 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

Jose L. Rodriguez, 29, had a warrant for violation of bail bond and was arrested at 4:13 a.m. July 28 at Brittany Place Condos, 707 E. Falcon Drive. Bond was set at $303,000.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Kristy L. Stone, 34, is accused of domestic battery and was arrested at 5:45 p.m. July 24 on the 600 block of N. Kaspar Avenue. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Aug. 16 was assigned.

Alex A. Yampolsky, 32, is accused of domestic battery and was arrested at 3:51 a.m. July 23 on the 700 block of E. Golf Road. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Aug. 9 was assigned.
