Emergency Water Main Break Closes Road In Arlington Heights: Village

The Village said Tuesday morning the work to fix the break is expected to take between three and five hours.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — An emergency water main break Tuesday morning has closed a roadway in Arlington Heights. The Village sent out an alert at around 8:30 a.m. saying public works crews are on scene addressing an emergency water main break in the 1000 block of W. Euclid Avenue just west of Northwest Highway.

The alert says Westbound Euclid Avenue is closed and traffic is being detoured onto W Northwest Highway until repairs are completed. Work is estimated to take three and five hours. Motorists are advised to use caution when travelling in this area.
