Please describe why this individual is a hero at your school.

Dr. Oswald is in charge of the radio program at GBS. He has grown the program and updated the equipment, as well as expanding broadcast hours. He can frequently be found before school, after school, in the evenings, on weekends, and in the summer. The kids and parents LOVE him! He is a mentor to every kid who walks thru his classroom door. Even with his busy schedule, he recently published an article in Radioworld.com detailing how he uses video games to teach students play-by-play announcing skills. This is just one example of his innovative teaching style, which also makes learning fun. In the past, he was named Teacher of the Year at GBS. He deserves every accolade, as he is one of South’s most popular teachers. GBS is lucky to have him!
