Halloween 2024: Arlington Heights Recommends Trick-Or-Treating Hours

The Arlington Heights Park District will be hosting a Trunk-or-Treat event later this month.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Halloween is just three weeks away, and the Village has some fun activities happening in the lead up to the holiday, including.

  • Trunk-or-Treat — The Arlington Heights Park District is once again hosting a Trunk-or-Treat event On Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Contact the Arlington Heights Park District for questions. See registration information.
  • Downtown Business Trick-or-Treating — Select downtown businesses will be providing family fun beginning 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, with entertainment for adults through the evening. Visitors are strongly encouraged to utilize the free public parking garage on Vail Avenue, or the free underground garage off of Evergreen Avenue.

For the actual holiday on Thursday, Oct. 31, the Village of Arlington Heights is recommending for those participating to limit trick-or-treating to 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

According to the Village's website, officials do not intend on moving trick-or-treating hours due to bad weather conditions.
