Holiday Tree Lighting Date Set In Arlington Heights

The event, held annually, is set to kick off the holiday season in November.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — It's not too early to start thinking about the holidays. The Village of Arlington Heights has set a date for its annual holiday tree lighting — Nov. 29. In addition to the lighting, other events are planned that night. Here is a list:

North School Park

  • 4:30 p.m.: See Park District Vibe Dance Group and hear Hersey School Dickens Carolers.
  • 5:00 p.m.: Arlington Heights Park Board President Maryfran Leno and Arlington Heights Mayor Thomas W. Hayes will welcome guests, followed by the lighting of North School Park. Hot chocolate and treats are available for purchase from the Cookies with Flavor food truck on Eastman

Family Fun at Harmony Park: 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
