I-294 Near O'Hare Shut Down Following Crash Involving Semi-Truck: Police
Three passenger cars and a truck-tractor semi-trailer were involved in a crash Wednesday night on the highway.
ROSEMONT, IL — A crash involving a truck-tractor semi-trailer and three passenger vehicles has shut down all northbound lanes on Interstate 94 Wednesday night near O'Hare International Airport. According to Illinois State Police, the personal injury crash happened at around 7:17 p.m. on I-294 northbound near Balmoral Avenue, Rosemont.
Police said traffic is getting by slowly on the left shoulder, with the Irving Park Road ramp to I-294 northbound also shut down. Extended lane closures are expected.
