Investigation Closes Road With Emergency Personnel On Scene: Schaumburg PD

SCHAUMBURG, IL — An investigation has closed the northbound and southbound lanes of S. Salem Drive, from Wise Road to Westfield Lane, Saturday afternoon. The Village of Schaumburg sent out a social media post about the closure at 11:25 a.m.

It is unclear what prompted the investigation, but officials said emergency personnel are on scene. Police are advising drivers to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
