Lutheran Home is hosting two complimentary workshops with the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter, open to the public. Designed for adult children of aging parents, they cover effective communication and the latest science behind Alzheimer’s and dementia. “Effective Communication” is on February 13 and “Advancing the Science” is on March 13. Both begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at Lutheran Home, 800 West Oakton St. in Arlington Heights. Attendees will gain the knowledge and free resources needed to navigate the journey of Alzheimer’s with confidence.
