Jeremy Morton was evaluated on instructional excellence, professionalism, innovation, community engagement and overall impact.

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — For his exceptional instructional excellence, leadership and meaningful contributions to students and the school community, Prospect High School teacher Jeremy Morton was recently named the 2025 Bubbl'r Teacher of the Year. A celebration for Morton, a fine arts coordinator at the school, was held at the school last week.

For the honor, Township High School District 214 said Morton will receive a year's supply of Bubbl'r, a mini-fridge for the sparkling water, a $10,000 donation to Prospect's fine arts and theater programs, and a $500 gift card. Representatives from Bubbl'r presented Morton with the $10,000 check during the assembly on Dec. 3.

Morton was selected through a national, multiphase process, which included written nominations, finalist selection and a public voting period. Nominees were evaluated on instructional excellence, professionalism, innovation, community engagement and the overall impact they have on students and schools.
