The Village of Arlington Heights Senior Citizens Commission is seeking nominations for the seventeenth annual Kenneth Hood Senior Service Award. Named in honor of the esteemed Dr. Kenneth Hood, whose legacy of selfless dedication to Arlington Heights' senior community inspires us all, this award celebrates individuals who exemplify outstanding commitment to serving older adults.

Ideal nominees will have demonstrated a history of excellence in serving Arlington Heights' older adults, whether through pioneering programs, enriching activities, or simply by brightening the lives of seniors in meaningful ways. We seek individuals who not only enhance the quality of life for our senior citizens but also embody a contagious enthusiasm for life itself.

Nominations for the Kenneth Hood Senior Service Award are open to all who volunteer within the Village of Arlington Heights. Whether you know someone who fits the bill or wish to nominate yourself, we encourage you to submit your nominations online [link] or pick up a paper application at the Arlington Heights Senior Center. Nominations will be accepted until 4:30 PM, June 15, 2025. Join us in recognizing those who dedicate themselves to making Arlington Heights a vibrant and caring community for seniors.
