Santa Claus Is Coming To Arlington Heights: Where To See Him

There will be some chances to catch jolly old St. Nick in Arlington Heights and across Chicagoland this holiday season.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Arlington Heights families. In Arlington Heights, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person.

Here are the details for Arlington Heights area residents:

  • Berry Yo, 50 N. Vail Ave., Arlington Heights. Santa will be there from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4. Get your photo taken with Santa, who will read everyone a story at 6:15 pm. There will be a free hot cocoa bar. Reservations required here.
  • Rotary Santa Run, Dec. 7, Arlington Heights. Santas will be everywhere at the annual Rotary Club of Arlington Heights event. Reindeer dash at 9:30 a.m.; runner warm-up at 9:45 a.m.; race at 10 a.m. Run is a 5K and there is also a one-mile walk. To learn more and register, visit here.
  • Santa's Workshop, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Dec. 7, First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights, 1903 East Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights. Santa is coming to FUMCAH! And you're invited to come participate in his workshop this December! He needs your help to build up the collective Christmas spirit of our little village. Come make Christmas crafts, take a picture with Santa, and indulge in our decadent hot chocolate/coffee bar, and enjoy a Christmas story or two. This event is most tailored toward kids age 2-8 and a parent. But all are welcome!
  • Breakfast with Santa, 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Dec. 14, Twin Lakes Clubhouse, 1200 E. Twin Lakes Drive, Palatine. Food, games, crafts and Santa Claus. Breakfast served until 10:45 a.m. with brunch going from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Registration required. Find out more here.
  • Winter Frostival, Arlington Heights Historical Museum, 110 W. Fremont St., Arlington Heights. 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14. Celebrate winter Jack Frost style and meet a real Ice Princess and Ice Queen, listen to strolling carolers, check out the menagerie of winter animals, visit with Santa Claus, and enjoy story time, crafts, and cookies and cocoa. It’s free, frosty, family fun.
