Semi-Truck Crash Causes 'Significant' Delays: Arlington Heights PD

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A traffic crash involving a semi-truck shut down a portion of Arlington Heights Road at Interstate 90 Friday morning, according to police. The Arlington Heights Police Department sent out a social media post regarding the crash at around 8:30 a.m.

Motorists were being asked to avoid the area of Arlington Heights Road and I-90 as the northbound lanes were closed. Police said there will be "significant" traffic delays in the southbound lanes of Arlington Heights Road as well. Later in the morning, the road was reopened.
