Staff Organizes Mask Giveaways: Arlington Heights Patch Heroes

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Paul Neubauer, who nominated his employees from Dahme Mechanical, of Arlington Heights.

Job: Plumbing and HVAC

Relationship to nominee: Employer

Reason for recognition: My employees went beyond the call this summer to put on two mask giveaways/food drives this summer, one in Arlington Heights and one in Countryside. Besides giving up two Saturdays, they donated plenty of after hours time getting things ready for the event.
