Train Strikes Pedestrian Near Mount Prospect: Metra
Inbound and outbound train movement has been halted Tuesday night following the incident.

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — A pedestrian was struck by a Metra train (No. 633) at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday night. According to a social media post from Metra Union Pacific Northwest line, both inbound and outbound train movement was still halted as of 6:40 p.m.
Daily Herald reports a woman was killed when the train struck her at around 5:20 p.m.
