'Ultimate Summer Soundtrack' Returns To Arlington Heights

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — It's time to start thinking about summer, especially for residents who love outdoor concert during the season. The Village of Arlington Heights has announced the lineup for the Sounds of Summer concert series, "bringing the ultimate summer soundtrack" to Harmony Park, according to officials.

The series is sponsored by Schwabe Group at Compass Real Estate, with free live music planned weekly in the heart of downtown Arlington Heights. Sounds of Summer also compliments the Village's pedestrian-friendly, outdoor dining experience, Arlington Alfresco.

Village officials conducted a survey after the 2024 Sounds of Summer season to gather community feedback about musical genre preferences. These results helped shape the schedule designed to offer something for everyone, from classic rock to country, to pop hits and annual favorites.

Concerts take place on Thursdays in Harmony Park, located at the intersection of Campbell and Vail in downtown Arlington Heights. Concerts are 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

• June 12: Rocks Off – Rolling Stones Tribute
• June 19: In the Stix – Modern Country hits
• June 26: The Chicago Experience – Chicago Tribute
• July 10: Y2k – 2000's Era Tribute
• July 17: Heartache Tonight – Hits from the Eagles
• July 24: The ThrowBacks – 50's & 60’s Rock N’ Roll
• July 31: Billy Elton – Billy Joel & Elton John
• August 7: Valius – Classic hits from the 60's through today
• August 14: Motown Nation – Favorite Motown Hits
• August 21: The Ron Burgundy's – Yacht Rock
• August 28: Blooze Brothers – Tribute to the Blues Brothers, Blues, & Rock
