Unlocked 2014 Audi Q5 Stolen: Cops
PLUS: $2,500 worth of copper stolen from a locked building at a shopping center.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information is from the Arlington Heights Police Department unless otherwise noted. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Damaged Property
Freshly poured concrete was damaged between 3 p.m. Oct. 16 and 4 a.m. Oct. 17 in the 200 block of South Vail Avenue. The cost of the damage is not clear.
Theft
A package worth $799 was stolen between 2:51 and 9:20 p.m. Oct. 18 from the lobby of a residence in the 300 block of North Salem Drive.

Vehicle Break-In
A wallet with credit cards, cash and a driver's license was stolen from an unlocked black 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe parked at the Olympic Park, 660 N. Ridge Ave., between 2 and 3 p.m. Oct. 18.
Vehicle Break-In
A briefcase was stolen between 12:01 a.m. and 1:29 a.m. from an unlocked maroon 2000 Lexus RX300 parked in the 600 block of East Ivy Lane. The briefcase was later recovered.

Theft
Cash was stolen at around 1:28 a.m. Oct. 19 from an unlocked 2017 gray Dodge Ram in the 600 block of East Appletree Lane. The garage door opener also was used to open the victim's garage, but nothing was stolen.
Theft
Copper worth $2,500 was stolen between noon and 2:45 p.m. July 20 and 2:45 p.m. Oct. 18 from a locked building at the rear of the shopping center in the 2100 block of North Arlington Heights Road.
Car Theft
An unlocked white 2014 Audi Q5 was stolen between 12:05 and 5:35 a.m. Oct. 16 from the 1300 block of Eton Drive.
