The new station is expected to cut response time in half in the area, according to a news release. The area is home to residential communities and business corridors, including the Chicago Premium Outlets and the new $360M Hollywood Casino, for which construction began in late 2023.

Currently, the area is served by either a fire station a mile away near Fox Valley Mall or one in downtown Aurora.
