$1M Powerball Ticket Was Sold In Aurora
Another lucky player won $50,000 in Wednesday's Powerball drawing.

AURORA, IL — Of the nine tickets purchased in Illinois that won in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, two were sold in Aurora, the Illinois Lottery said.
One lucky winner won $1 million after purchasing the ticket at Joe's Tobacco and Vape, located at 1945 W. Galena Blvd. A second player scored $50,000 from a ticket bought at BP, 2200 W. Galena Blvd.
No ticket matched all six numbers drawn Wednesday night — white balls 3, 16, 29, 61, 69 and red Powerball 22 — to win the $1.4 billion Powerball jackpot. The Power Play multiplier was 2.

The Powerball jackpot has now soared to $1.7 billion, a $770.3 million cash value. It is the third-largest jackpot in the game's history.
The roll began on June 2, with more than 1.3 million tickets sold since. Illinois Lottery players have won almost $15.7 million in prizes.

The next Powerball drawing will take place Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Central Time. Tickets — costing $2 each — must be purchased by 9 p.m. that day to be considered, according to the Illinois Lottery. For an additional $1 per ticket, players can add the Power Play for a chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes.
