Aggravated Battery Near Downtown Aurora Business Is Under Investigation: Police
A victim was hospitalized in stable condition after the aggravated battery, according to Aurora police.

AURORA, IL — A man was the victim of an aggravated battery Tuesday evening in the 200 block of East Galena Boulevard, according to Aurora police.
Police responded at 7:48 p.m. to a report of an aggravated battery outside of a business in downtown Aurora and found the victim, who was transported to the hospital in stable condition, officials said.
A second person with "apparent injuries" was also located nearby, police said, and hospitalized for a medical evaluation.

Officials said all involved have been "identified and located," but the incident remains under investigation.
Galena Boulevard was shut down in both directions between Lincoln Avenue and North Broadway until about 10:40 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the Aurora Police Department.
