Aurora Mayoral Candidates: Feb. 25 Consolidated Primary

AURORA, IL — Aurora residents will be some of the only people in Kane County to vote in the Feb. 25 consolidated primary, ahead of the April 1 consolidated election.

The primary will narrow down the six mayoral candidates running in the non-partisan race. Voters will each select one person, and the top two finishers will move on to the April election.

Early voting began Jan. 16 for the primary race and is available at the Kane County Clerk's Office in Aurora, at 5 E. Downer Place, and in Geneva, at 719 S. Batavia Ave., until the day before the election.

In April, five aldermanic races will be on the ballot to determine who will hold the seats in wards 1, 2, 4 and 7 as well as for alderperson at large.
