AURORA, IL — Aurora police will be hosting bloodhound training Wednesday, officials warned in case locals see dogs and their handlers at local parks and trails.
The Aurora Police Department is coordinating the training with dog teams from surrounding agencies. The scheduled instruction is "essential for maintaining the tracking capabilities" of the dogs.
"Please help us by giving the teams the space they need to train," police wrote in a Facebook post at 7:30 a.m. "Thanks to everyone for your cooperation and support as we continue to work together for the safety of our communities!"
