Construction Team Behind Hollywood Casino Project Gets Perfect Grades
Mayor Richard Irvin graded the progress Thursday of the $360 million Hollywood Casino construction project underway in Aurora.

AURORA, IL — When Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin met Thursday with the construction team working on the $360 million Hollywood Casino project to assess progress, he gave the group A+ grades across the board.
"You're on time, within budget, and you have passed 100% of inspections," Irvin said at the event, per a news release from the city. "You get an A+ for that."
The perfect grades were awarded to Power Construction and contractors under three categories: standard operations category, a special conditions category for working in challenging weather and having minimal impact on traffic, and the major building construction category that included the parking garage and hotel.
