Cop On A Rooftop Events Coming To Aurora

Aurora police will participate in the events to raise money for Special Olympics.

AURORA, IL — Aurora police will be participating in upcoming Cop on a Rooftop events on Friday.

Happening from 5 a.m. to noon at three Dunkin’ locations across Aurora, Cop on a Rooftop will help raise money for Special Olympics via the Law Enforcement Torch Run, a collaborative effort from police departments across the nation.

Officers will be selling mugs, shirts, hats, pins and Harley Davidson raffle tickets at Dunkin’ outposts at 1255 N. Farnsworth Ave., 1237 N. Eola Road, 2380 S. Eola Road. All customers who donate will receive a free doughnut coupon, and those who give at least $10 will receive a travel mug, while supplies last, and a coupon for a free medium coffee.

Those who aren’t able to attend but want to donate can do so on the Cop on a Rooftop website.
