'Criminal Incident' Investigation Underway In Aurora: Police

AURORA, IL — A "criminal incident" is under investigation Monday afternoon in the 800 block of Summerhill Drive in Aurora, police said.

A large police presence is gathered in the subdivision off Orchard Road and Prairie Street, according to a 3:31 p.m. Facebook post from the Aurora Police Department.

Although there is no ongoing threat to the public, police are asking the community to avoid the area while officers investigate Monday.

Officials said they will provide updates as they become available.
