Job Fair Planned Ahead Of Hollywood Casino's Opening Next Year

Hollywood Casino and the City of Aurora are hosting an event with on-the-spot interviews and same-day job offers for more than 50 jobs.

AURORA, IL — The City of Aurora and Hollywood Casino are hosting a job fair Saturday to prepare for the casino resort's opening early next year.

The Jackpot Job Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Waubonsee Community College, 18 S. River St.

The hiring event will give job seekers a chance to join "a dynamic and expanding company with competitive benefits, paid training, and significant career growth opportunities."

The casino has more than 50 positions available. Jobs include:

  • Dealers (paid dealer school training available)
  • Security agents and surveillance shift managers
  • Cage cashiers and shift managers
  • Table games and slots assistant shift managers
  • Hosts, hostesses, dishwashers, barbacks, and storeroom clerks
  • Poker dealers

Roles have competitive pay, benefits starting on the first day, paid time off and extensive training. Officials said attendees will be able to do on-the-spot interviews and may receive same-day offers.
