Krema Coffee Roasters Celebrates New Cafe In North Aurora

The newest Krema Coffee — marking the brand's fourth in the Chicago area — just celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

NORTH AURORA, IL — Krema Coffee Roasters continues to expand in the Chicagoland area with its latest cafe opening in North Aurora.

The Batavia Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony April 19 for the independent coffee house at 1109 Ritter St., neighboring My Place Hotel.

North Aurora Village President Mark Gaffino joined Chamber President and CEO Margaret Perreault to preside over the ceremony attended by owners Kacie Hollenbeck, Macey Brooks and Michael Duy.

The North Aurora cafe marks Krema's fourth. The first opened in Plainfield in December 2017, followed by a location in each Lockport and Tinley Park.

Krema offers a variety of in-house roasts, loose-leaf teas, fresh pastries baked in-house, craft toast, sandwiches and salads. The North Aurora shop also expanded to feature a private, rentable room for small after-hours events.

"Krema Coffee Roasters is a wonderful place to come and relax," Chamber officials wrote in a news release.

The coffee house is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
