At least one suspect fired at the victims before both suspects fled the scene. They left in a SUV that had been waiting in an alley east of the shooting. The SUV then drove away to the east.
Police have not ruled out the possibility that this is a gang related shooting, but they say it does not appear to be related to the homicide that occurred on New Year’s Eve.
