Missing Woman Last Seen Having Car Trouble At Indiana Gas Station

AURORA, IL — A 40-year-old woman has been reported missing after she was last seen at an Indiana gas station where an employee said she was having car troubles, Aurora police said.

Jill Simmons was reported missing from her Aurora home on Aug. 30. Police tracked her last known location to a Mike's Gas in Lake Station, Indiana at around 1 a.m. on Aug. 31.

"She reported to a Mike's Gas employee that she was having vehicle difficulties," police said in a social media statement.

Simmons was last seen wearing red gym shoes, a blue and white shirt and blue athletic pants with a white strip down the side. Her family said she suffers from mental health issues and could be in danger.
