New Cannabis Dispensary Opens In Aurora

AURORA, IL — Aurora's newest cannabis dispensary, located about a mile south of I-88, opened Friday.

AuraLight celebrated the grand opening of its flagship location at 1350 N. Orchard Road with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m. To mark the occasion, Chief Engagement Officer Clayton Muhammad said the company will host pop-ups, food trucks, raffles, doorbusters and other activities.

So far, Aurora is home to two other recreational marijuana dispensaries. Zen Leaf, opened in 2020 at 740 Route 59, was the first to open in the city. The second, NuEra, opened a year later at 1415 Corporate Blvd.
