New Dunkin' Opens In Aurora, Gives 100 People Free Coffee For A Year

AURORA, IL — Aurora's newest Dunkin' opened Friday morning on the city's west side.

City officials gathered at 809 N. Lake St., in between Wendy's and Mariscos El Huichol, to celebrate the new business with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony, the city's 65th this year.

The new Dunkin', branded "Aurora Runs on Dunkin'," is owned by Shreeji Management Group, which operates several other locations in the city. So far, there are six Dunkin' locations in Aurora.

In honor of the opening, the coffee shop gave the first 100 guests a booklet of coupons for free coffee for a year. Locals who nabbed the deal had to be at the ceremony by 9 a.m., officials said.
