Paramount Theatre's 'Kinky Boots' Will Be Open To Vaccinated Only
According to a statement on the company's website, the first indoor show since the start of the pandemic will strive to be safe for guests.

AURORA, IL — The first indoor show at the Paramount Theatre since the start of the pandemic is scheduled to premiere Aug. 18, but showgoers won't be able to get their "Kinky Boots" in the door unless they can provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
A post on the theater's website stated the opening of the Broadway show "Kinky Boots" would be shown to vaccinated attendees only, adding that social distancing inside the theater would be "simply not possible."
Patrons will need to show they are fully vaccinated with an authorized vaccine in order to attend the show. All Paramount Theatre staff, cast and crew will be required to be fully vaccinated as well, President and CEO Tim Rater wrote.

Currently, the theater can hold about 1,800 people. Social distancing would cut the audience down to about 25 percent of the normal capacity.
Children under the age of 12, a group not currently eligible to receive a vaccine against COVID-19, must wear masks to attend the show and be accompanied by a vaccinated adult. Children under 3 will not be allowed to attend.
