AURORA, IL — Police have located the vehicle of interest from a hit-and-run crash that killed a man early Sunday morning, but have not yet found the driver.

Officials released an image of a 1989 Ford Bronco they found that matched surveillance footage from the scene of the crash on the 200 block of North Lincoln Avenue. A Mexican flag wrap was not on the image police released of the captured car, but was on the vehicle shown in footage from near the incident.

Authorities were called to the scene of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at around 1 a.m. Sunday. Paramedics found 59-year-old Michael Brooks in the road and took him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
