Batavia Man Accused Of Soliciting Sex Facing Charges

Police said a female contractor doing work at the man's home claims he offered her money to perform a sex act with him.

BATAVIA, IL — A Batavia man accused of offering someone money to perform a sexual act with him has turned himself into police. According to a release from the Batavia Police Department, Lester Yesnick, 69, of the 2000 block of Wagner Road, was identified as the result of an investigation into a report the police department received at 1:24 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 regarding a person who solicited a sexual act. The female victim notified police that while she was completing contracted work at the man's Batavia home Thursday, Aug. 29, he reportedly offered her money to perform a sex act with him, which she refused before leaving the home, the release said.

According to police, Yesnick turned himself into Batavia police and faces charges of solicitation of a sexual act and disorderly conduct.
