Batavia Opens Warming Centers
As temperatures plummet, local government buildings open their doors to help people get in from the cold.

During extreme weather, Batavia opens city hall to provide a respite for people who might need a break from the cold. In addition to being open during extreme weather, Batavia City Hall is open if you need a warm place to go due to a power outage, a problem with your furnace, or other emergency. During normal business hours, please check in with the receptionist on the second floor. At other times, please check in with the front window at the Police Department. For further information, contact the City at 630-454-2000.
