BatFest 2024: Schedule Released For Annual Batavia Halloween Event
Batavia MainStreet's annual Halloween-themed event for families is happening in a few weeks.

BATAVIA, IL — Batavia is celebrating Halloween with its annual BatFest on Oct. 26.
Ghoulish activities are on deck from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Batavia. Organized by Batavia MainStreet, BatFest is "sure to be a great time," staff said.
Here's a look at the schedule for the day:

- 9:30 a.m.: Lineup begins for the BatFest Community Parade,
- 10 a.m.: Parade starts
- 10 a.m. to noon: Downtown trick-or-treating
- 10 a.m. to noon: Super Mario World and face painting at New Moon Vegan
- 10 a.m. to noon: Joe and Dough coffee and mini doughnuts at The Wilson Street Mercantile
- 10 a.m. to noon: Magician and balloons at Hearth & Hammer
- 10-11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.: Reptile show at Congregational Church of Batavia
- 10:30 a.m.: BatFest Stories at Batavia Public Library Reading Garden
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Final Farmers’ Market of the Season
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Incredible Bats at Sturdy Shelter Brewing
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Pumpkin Roll hosted by Boy Scout Troop 6
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: BatFest Booths & Performances at Peg Bond Center
- 12:15 p.m.: Costume contest at Peg Bond Center
- 1 p.m.: Batavia Animal Clinic Pet Costume Contest at Peg Bond Center
