CD One Price Cleaners Opens In Batavia

BATAVIA, IL — CD One Price Cleaners opened its first location in Batavia.

The locally owned and operated cleaners, a chain with locations across the Chicagoland area, including the nearest one in St. Charles, is operating at 2006 W. Wilson St. Lalo Patel, Jatin Patel and his wife, Kushi, serve as co-owners and managers of the Batavia CD One Price Cleaners.

"They are committed to cleaning your items quickly, affordably, and done right every time," Batavia Chamber of Commerce officials said in a news release. "After decades of garment care experience, CD One Price Cleaners know the best way to attack every spot, stain, and blemish on a garment."

Mayor Jeffery Schielke presided over a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 8 for the new business. He was joined by owners and Chamber staff.

CD One Price offers same-day service for no extra fees and specialty services for cleaning items such as boots, area rugs, blankets and comforters. Services also include wedding dress preservation and alterations.

The Batavia store hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with 24-hour express drop-off. The cleaner is closed on Sundays.
