City Of Batavia Looks To Hire Minute-Taker, Recording Secretary

Staff is looking to hire independent contractors for certain City of Batavia public meetings, including Committee of the Whole.

BATAVIA, IL — The City is seeking one or more independent contractors to act as minute-taker/recording secretary for certain City of Batavia public meetings including:

  • Committee of the Whole, which meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month at 7:00 PM,
  • Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals, which meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM,
  • Historic Preservation Commission, which meets on the second Monday of each month at 5:00 PM, in addition to other meetings on an as-needed basis.

The secretary position takes roll call of votes and recording/transcribing the meeting minutes for these public bodies.
