Local students make Southern New Hampshire University dean’s list
It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Fall 2024 President's List. The fall terms run from September to December.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Fall 2024 dean's list at Roger Williams University honors Batavia student
Brianna Picchietti, of Batavia, IL 60510 has been named to the Fall 2024 Dean's List at Roger Williams University, in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Student from Batavia joins men's track and field team at UW-Whitewater
Felipe Wickler, from Batavia, who is studying Media Arts and Game Development at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has earned a roster spot on the Warhawk men's track and field team for the 2025 season.
The Warhawks began the 2025 season in January at Carthage's Firebird First Invitational. The team competes in its first regular season home meet of the season this Saturday - the Karl Schlender Invitational at Kachel Fieldhouse. For the full 2025 schedule, visit uwwsports.com.

University of Mississippi Announces Fall 2024 Dean's Honor Roll
The University of Mississippi announced students named to the Fall 2024 Honor Roll lists. The following local students were named to the Dean's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74:
- Callie Gardner, of Batavia, IL, in the B.A.Ed. in Elementary Education program.
- Gabrielle Kuretsky, of Batavia, IL, in the B.S.C.S. in Computer Science program.
- Evan Morse, of Batavia, IL, in the B.B.A. in Entrepreneurship program.
To be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

Lewis University Honors Local Students on 2024 Fall Dean's List
Just over 1,700 students were honored on the Lewis University Dean's List for the 2024 Fall Semester. To be eligible for this honor, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester with a grade point average of at least 3.5 and with no "D" or "F" grades.
Local students are included in the recognition.
- Madison DeTolve of Batavia (60510) is studying Forensic Criminal Invstgtn at Lewis University Education and Social Sciences.
- Samantha Scolaro of Batavia (60510) is studying Aviation Flight Technology at Lewis University Aviation Science Technology.
- Logan Sibrava of Batavia (60510) is studying Nursing at Lewis University Nursing and Health Sciences.
