Date Announced For 2024 Batavia Community Dinner Table Event
The annual fundraiser features a family-style dinner and dessert prepared by local restaurants.
BATAVIA, IL — Batavia United Way announced the day of its annual Community Dinner Table fundraiser.
The shared-table experience, allowing residents to dine and mingle at one long table in downtown Batavia, will return from 4-6 p.m. Sept. 8 on North River Street.
Guests can start the event by grabbing a cocktail, enjoying live music and chatting with one another until dinner is served. The meal will be prepared by local restaurants and will be served family-style.

Throughout the dinner, participants will learn about the programs benefiting from the fundraiser's proceeds.
Tickets to the event are $65 per person and include dinner, dessert and all beverages, including water, lemonade, iced tea, wine and beer. Seats are limited to 200 guests, so organizers recommend interested locals snag tickets sooner rather than later.
