Delays Expected With Paving Planned At Route 25, Wilson Street

Drivers should avoid the area until construction is complete or expect delays if they drive through the intersection.

BATAVIA, IL — Road work at the intersection of Route 25 and Wilson Street will continue Tuesday morning, prompting city officials to warn drivers to expect delays in the area.

Crews are working to pave the downtown Batavia intersection. They began Monday morning with grinding, working until about 2:30 p.m. Paving will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday and will continue until it's complete, officials said. According to an alert, work is planned until 11 a.m.

Drivers should avoid the area until construction is complete or expect delays if they drive through the intersection.
