Don't Miss Xanadu Jr. - Final Show Tonight!
This middle school production is worth seeing! You will laugh, bounce to the music and find yourself rooting for true love...
Looking for something fun and light hearted to do with the kids this weekend? How about a local theater production displaying some of our own Rotolo Middle School’s most talented young actors that will make you want to dance and clap your hands?
The storyline is a fun Jr. stage adaptation of the Universal Pictures classic movie that features a fun and electrifying tale. Xanadu Jr. includes chart topping hits by Newton-John and Electric Light Orchestra that you'll be tapping your toes to.
The journey begins with the beautiful Greek muse, Kira (played by the talented and graceful Lia Woods) who is on a mission to help Sonny Malone - a young, struggling artist with an ambitious vision to open a Roller Disco (played by Finley Dant who has a great sense of comedic timing). Enter on to the scene, Danny Maquire (played by the equally talented Leo Maggio), a successful construction mogul who has a surprising past as a big band orchestra leader who lost his creative passion after losing the love of his life. Following a rough start, Sonny and Danny partner together and they, along with Kira, have a story that unfolds beautifully on stage with the help of a very skillful supportive cast. You’ll have to come out and watch how the many twists and turns in this musical drama work out in the end!
