Emagine Batavia Offers Free Movie Tickets To Educators This Summer
Educators can see summer blockbusters for free for a month at Emagine Batavia.
BATAVIA, IL — Educators can go to the movies for free this summer in Batavia.
Emagine Entertainment, the parent company that owns theaters throughout the Midwest, is showing its appreciation by giving teachers and school staff free tickets to movies each Wednesday starting July 1 until July 31.
In Batavia, Emagine is located at 550 N. Randall Road.

Tickets for the program, which can only be secured at the theater's box office, are valid for showings beginning before 5 p.m. Wednesdays. All educators have to do is show proper identification or proof of school employment.
"July is educator appreciation month and Emagine appreciates all educators and school staff," officials said in a news release Monday. "They will once again be acknowledging the hard work educators put in throughout the school year."

Movies coming out in July include "Despicable Me 4;" the Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansen-led romantic comedy "Fly Me to the Moon;" "Twisters," the standalone sequel to a 1996 blockbuster; and "Deadpool & Wolverine," expected to be one of the summer's biggest hits, according to the AP.
