2 Batavia Intersections Closed For Emergency Sewer Repair
A "road closed" sign is placed at two Batavia intersections while an emergency sewer repair is underway Tuesday.

BATAVIA, IL — Two Batavia intersections are closed Tuesday for an emergency sewer repair, city officials said at 8:20 a.m.
Clearly marked "road closed" signs are in place at the South Jackson Street intersections with First and Main streets. Staff did not say how long the closures will last.
Residents and property owners within the closures still have access from either side of the work zone, officials said. Locals with questions about the project should email water@bataviail.gov or call 630-454-2450.
