Fruitful Yield Unveils Remodeled Batavia Store

BATAVIA, IL — Batavia's Fruitful Yield unveiled its newly remodeled store with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Nov. 9.

Mike VanDusseldorp, the store manager, said remodeling began by rotating aisles on June 23 and concluded with the final signage going up on Nov. 7. The store remained open during the project, which entailed reorganizing the entire store, rotating a few aisles, adding more aisles and improving signage.

Fruitful Yield, at 155 N. Randall Road within the Windmill Lakes Center, first opened in October 2011.

"We have been grateful to serve this community ever since!" VanDusseldorp wrote to Patch in an email.

The ribbon cutting not only commemorated the remodeled business, but it also celebrated Fruitful Yield joining the Batavia Chamber of Commerce. Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke presided over the event along with Brett Poss, senior district operations manager, and VanDusseldorp.

The health food store is one of more than a dozen in the Chicagoland area, with some located within Caputo's grocery stores. The family-owned Fruitful Yield first originated in 1962 with the mission to provide education and clean, quality products that promote a healthy lifestyle. The Batavia location carries a selection of natural vitamins and supplements, snacks, organic produce, clean skincare products and natural pet care, among other items.

Fruitful Yield in Batavia also offers curbside and in-store pickup. Its hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
