National Batman Day Movie Marathon Planned At Emagine Batavia

Batavia's movie theater will play all three movies in "The Dark Knight" trilogy in celebration of National Batman Day on Saturday.

BATAVIA, IL — Emagine Batavia will celebrate National Batman Day on Saturday by screening all three films in "The Dark Knight" trilogy.

Fans of the franchise or movie-goers who have yet to check the saga off their to-watch list can see "Batman Begins," "Dark Knight" and "Dark Knight Rises" back-to-back. The cost? $25, and that includes an 85-ounce popcorn tub and a small drink that can be refilled throughout the day.

The schedule is as follows: The first movie will kick off at 1 p.m., the second will follow at 4 p.m., and the final installment will bring the event to a close starting at 7:15 p.m.

The Batman Day Package is only available for purchase at the theater's box office, 550 N. Randall Road. Individual movie tickets will not be sold, organizers said.
