National Night Out In Batavia: See What's Planned

The community will come together at Peg Bond Center for an evening of free food, music and family-friendly activities.

BATAVIA, IL — National Night Out is coming to Peg Bond Center Aug. 6.

A community-building event that promotes partnerships between police and their communities, National Night Out will feature food, entertainment and raffle prizes from 5-8 p.m. at 100 N. Island Ave.

Fernando's Street Kitchen will provide the food. Vehicle tours, drone demonstrations and public safety education are also on the docket for the evening.

"It's the perfect chance to meet us, learn about what we do, and connect with your neighbors," police officials wrote in a Facebook post. "We're excited to get to know you and for you to get to know us!"
